OIL PRESSURE SENDING UNIT LOCATION

Post by Bad Company on Mon Dec 24, 2012 5:46 pm

Look at # 9 Engine Oil Pressure (EOP) switch, it is just above the starter solenoid. Will have wiring connected to it also.

If I were to add an oil pressure gauge, I'd "T" it off the sending unit (switch) for the dash light. Best of both.

This image is of the 2.4 LE5 motor fwiw.

I was looking underneath mine today, and was surprised to see the starter was right out in the open. The oil pressure switch doesn't look too bad, thanks for posting!
